We have to learn the importance of living a life fully surrendered to God. We need to cultivate a genuine, daily relationship with Him rather than seeking Him only in times of need. Instead of pursuing our own ambitions or relying on our own strength, we should trust God’s guidance, obey His Word, and honor Him in all that we do. God is concerned with the condition of our hearts more than our titles, status, or abilities, and His discipline is meant to shape us into faithful servants. As demonstrated through the lives of Moses and Joshua, faithfulness, humility, and obedience position us to experience God’s promises. When we place God first, walk in love, reject entitlement, and trust His timing, we can confidently expect Him to work in and through our lives according to His perfect will.
