Prophecy should always point to Jesus and reflect the heart of God. A true prophet seeks to know God’s will and share His love with others. Since nothing truly satisfies us except God, we must stay close to Him and genuinely love people in order to minister well. Prophecy is speaking God’s will and heart as He leads us, which requires abiding in Jesus, surrendering to His guidance, and staying rooted in His Word so that He can produce fruit through our lives. This sermon was delivered at Freedom Fellowship Church International in San Antonio, TX.
