Living each day, we are called to resemble God by cultivating His heart within us, remembering that Jesus went to the cross for all of us as the ultimate example of love and sacrifice. God’s compassion extends even when we struggle to understand it, reminding us that we must govern our actions in love. God has entrusted us with the responsibility to disciple others, and we must never mistreat those placed in our care. Instead, we should continually go before Him, asking for guidance to reflect His heart in every situation, even praying, “God, did I have Your heart in everything I did today?” Through prayer and fasting, we strengthen ourselves so we can better love, lead, and care for the people we are called to disciple.
