This morning’s message emphasized resisting worldly influences by taking captive every idol thought and living a life free from sin and laziness, like Daniel. While we must engage with the world and contend with evil, we need to remain holy and shrewd. The church has often been outproduced by the world, so transforming culture requires a deep, wholehearted dedication to God. A life focused on God is more fulfilling than anything else, and we must hold tightly to Him and pursue Him with all our heart.
