A commanding presence comes from knowing Christ and understanding the authority and identity He has given us. We are God’s masterpiece, each with a unique calling, and we should trust Him in every area of our lives rather than only where we feel comfortable. God has given each believer spiritual gifts that are meant to be exercised in love, not chosen based on personal preference. Fear and a lack of knowledge of God’s Word can keep us from experiencing His power, but faith, obedience, and a deep relationship with Him allow us to walk confidently in His purpose. We are called to pursue excellence, develop the fruit of the Spirit, keep our minds focused on God, and obey Him immediately, knowing that delayed obedience is disobedience. By remaining teachable, meditating on God’s goodness and promises, renewing our minds, maintaining pure hearts, and seeking God’s wisdom in everything we do, we position ourselves to operate in His power, believe for the impossible, and faithfully fulfill the purpose He has for our lives.This sermon was delivered at Freedom Fellowship Church International in San Antonio, TX.
