We know that God is bringing forth new, and it’s time to scrap everything we previously knew. Nothing in prison could prepare Joseph for his promotion, but God knew his heart was ready. We also know that new wine cannot fit into old wineskins, so we have to prepare for the new. But God is looking for people who are going to move forward despite what the circumstances look like and be disciplined enough for what is to come. Pastor Josh talks about starting to be sensitive to the small voice we hear and start discerning if it’s from God or not. We as Christians are also called to keep our bodies in good shape. We should look at this training time as not for us, but we are disciplining ourselves to honor God. This sermon was delivered at Freedom Fellowship Church International in San Antonio, TX.
